/Postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB) at Weill Cornell Medicine
We are seeking a research postdoctoral fellow with substantial clinical training to work on a project examining the effectiveness of parent-mediated intervention for toddlers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) under the supervision of Dr. So Hyun “Sophy” Kim and Dr. Catherine Lord. The fellow will be actively involved in research, including the data collection and analyses process, preparations for manuscripts and grant applications, and training research assistants. The fellow will be able to accrue substantial clinical hours through delivering intervention and conducting diagnostic and developmental assessments at the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB), a state-of-the art center located in the Westchester campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College in White Plains, New York. Our center provides comprehensive clinical services for hundreds of patients annually, and the fellow will have opportunities for extensive clinical training under the supervision of licensed clinicians.
Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology or other related disciplines (e.g., developmental psychology) and completed a pre-doctoral internship, both from APA accredited programs. Applicants need to be eligible for temporary licensure in New York and will need to obtain the full New York state licensure by the end of the first year fellowship. Candidates with a track record of research productivity are strongly preferred.
Salary is competitive with full health benefits and vacation package included. Position is to start in July, 2017.
