/OPEN FACULTY POSITION: Assistant Professor/Clinical Psychologist, Oregon Health & Science University’s Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinics in Eugene, Oregon
This faculty position is under the administration of the Chief of Psychology in the Institute on Development and Disability (IDD), with academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics. This Assistant Professor level position will provide clinical services in support of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinics (CDRC) in Eugene, Oregon. The duties of this position are in support of the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU and the IDD and include: provide psychological assessment and treatment of children and adolescents seen at Eugene CDRC; serve on various IDD/OHSU committees as appropriate; engage in community service through teaching and consultation activities; conduct clinical research or engage in other scholarly and advocacy work.
The duties of this position include: Provide assessment and intervention services for children and their families served by OHSU’s Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinics (CDRC) in Eugene, Oregon. Specific duties will include: Conduct psychological evaluations including clinical interviews, behavioral assessments, and administration of standard psychological tests with a particular focus on autism assessment. Provide short-term, solution focused psychological treatment services to foster adjustment and coping with disability, special health needs, and behavioral/psychological difficulties. Coordinate clinical services with community providers as needed. Duties also include: provide guest lectures to University of Oregon and to pediatric psychology training groups housed with the Portland OHSU campus (i.e., American Psychological Association accredited internship program, pediatric psychology fellowship program), conduct clinical research, advocacy, and/or community service and committee work that supports the mission of the Division of Psychology, the mission of the IDD, and/or the mission of OHSU. Provide consultation to the community, patients of Eugene CDRC, and to staff of Eugene CDRC.

Qualifications:
· Doctoral degree in psychology with specialization in child psychology preferably pediatric psychology.
· Preferred background in children with disabilities/special health care needs including pediatric psychology and/or pediatric neuropsychology and eligibility for licensure.
· Preferred experience with diagnostic assessment of conditions affecting learning and behavior and familiarity with neurodevelopmental patient populations (e.g., ADHD, learning and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders) and with trauma and other psychiatric presentations.
· Preferred desire to contribute to the multiple missions of OHSU (clinical service, teaching, and scholarship).
