Psychologist/Neuropsychologist - Boston Children's Hospital

Attending Psychologist or Neuropsychologist Position: The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital is excited to announce the opportunity to join our team as a Fulltime Attending Psychologist within our Outpatient Psychiatry Service (OPS). Our clinic is located within the Brain, Mind and Behavior Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, serving the diverse needs of Boston and larger New England area. OPS treats individuals aged 2-25 with Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Disorder (NDD), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, Attention. Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and Psychosis.

Psychologists/Neuropsychologists will join our multidisciplinary team which includes psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, advanced practice psychiatric nurses, clinical social workers, and patient navigators. Faculty will provide consultation and comprehensive psychological assessment of individual’s cognitive, social-communication, executive functioning, memory, motor, academic and behavioral functioning. Training and postdoctoral experience in the assessment of Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, including the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), are required. Understanding of evidence-based treatments and community care systems will be central to support our patients and families. This position may have opportunities for research collaborations within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and our larger Brain Mind Behavior Center. 

Applicants must possess a Massachusetts Health Service Provider license in psychology prior to assuming the position. Completion of APA/CPA-approved doctoral programs and internships is required. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will likely be at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor level commensurate with experience. As Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Harvard Medical School faculty, core responsibilities will include teaching and supervision of trainees at the predoctoral and postdoctoral level.
