Fellowships in Autism Spectrum Disorder, University of Delaware

The Division of Behavioral Health at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and the Center for Disabilities Studies at the University of Delaware are pleased to announce the availability of two newly funded 12 month pediatric/child clinical psychology fellowships focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) funded by the HRSA grant "Innovation in Care Integration for Children and Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Other Developmental Disabilities". The positions will begin in fall 2016, and the positions are open to graduates from APA approved doctoral programs that have completed their internship training.

Clinically, the psychology fellowships will involve direct clinical care with ASD as a referral question, including diagnostic evaluations, comprehensive testing, ongoing treatment (both behavior-based and CBT), empirically validated group interventions for children and parents, and exposure to patients with ASD in a medical setting with clinical experiences occurring primarily at Nemours/AIDHC. One fellowship will be focused primarily on telemedicine service delivery to under-served regions, and one fellowship will be focused primarily on ASD evaluations through early intervention programs. Furthermore, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations and evaluation of a broad range of developmental disabilities will also be emphasized.  Applicants ideally will have a documented interest and clinical experience in ASD; although ADOS-2 training is not required, it is preferred.

Both fellows will also participate in didactic seminars spanning topics such as professional development, clinical supervision, research and medical issues, and hospital grand rounds and have opportunities for supervision of other psychology trainees as part of Nemours/AIDHC’s established psychology fellowship program. Associate/Assistant Professor in Health Disparities, Auburn University

Auburn University is advertising for an Associate/Assistant Professor position in Health disparities. This is part of an exciting new cluster-hire initiative that will support six new faculty positions in Psychology (this position), Human Development and Family Studies, Nutrition, Health Outcomes and Policy, Kinesiology and Nursing.
